The Biological Technologies Office (BTO) of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is hosting a Proposers Day for the potential proposer community in support of a planned Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Advanced Plant Technologies (APT) program. The Proposers Day will be held on December 12, 2017 at The Westin Arlington Gateway in Arlington, VA. The event will be webcast for those who would like to participate remotely.   • To explain the logistics of DARPA contract awards as well as the objectives of the Advanced Plant Technologies program;
  • To facilitate interaction between investigators that may have capabilities to develop elements of interest and relevance to Advanced Plant Technologies goals; and
  • To encourage and promote teaming arrangements among organizations that have the necessary expertise, facilities and capabilities to meet research objectives established by the Advanced Plant Technologies program.

Interested attendees are invited to present a summary of their interest and capabilities during a 3-minute "lightning" presentation (see attachment 1 for template) at the Proposers Day. Presentations consisting of multiple slides will not be granted a time slot. Attendees may also choose to present a poster (see attachment 2 for template) describing their research and interests that will be available for viewing and interaction during Proposers Day. Those interested may submit both a lightning talk and a poster. You must register for these on the registration page.

Lightning talk and/or poster submissions will be accepted on a first-come basis until time constraints (lightning talks) or physical capacity (posters) is reached.

Interested parties are also invited to submit a one-page profile describing technical competencies and facility capabilities as it relates to the program and desired technical competencies in other potential teammates (attachment 3).

All profiles, presentations and posters must be emailed to DARPA-SN-18-05@darpa.mil no later than 12:00 PM ET on December 7, 2017.

A consolidated list of profiles will be sent via email to proposers who submitted a valid profile (following the format provided and not exceeding the single page limit).
