ENRICH in the USA 7th training event successfully held on the 14th of March at CFIA Rennes 2019!

Going international is not an easy step. Even though the US may seem culturally close to a lot of EU R&I actors, the US eco-system and market have their own pace. Within this context, the ENRICH in the USA provides through its trainings a further understanding about the US market, its main challenges and opportunities from the European perspective and support on how to successfully create relevant partnerships in the US.

The seventh training event was held by ENRICH in the USA Partner inno TSD on the 14th of March from in Rennes, France in the frame of CFIA, a large exhibition for the food-processing sector in Europe. It was held in collaboration with Valorial, a national agri-food cluster located in Western France that represents the cluster partnership (ESCP-4i) NF4 - New Frontiers in Food.

The audience consisted mainly of start-ups and SMEs, and several cluster representatives active in the agri-food sector. As such, the presentations were targeted specifically to this group, having a focus on the US market and including elements on the agrifood sector. The training was divided into four sessions:

  • US Market at a glance
  • Main challenges and opportunities in the US market
  • How to create relevant partnerships in the US
  • ENRICH in the USA services & how to apply for them

Over 20 participants attended the training. The feedback provided by the participants displayed that they were satisfied with the content, and some of them showed a high interest in participating in the ENRICH in the USA activities and services in the future.
