Press Release

BOSTON, MA, Oct. 11, 2018 – The International Business Innovation Association (InBIA) and European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN) are pleased to announce yesterday’s official opening of the East Coast Centre in Boston, MA of ENRICH in the USA. The Centre, which is led by InBIA, will provide information and support services to EU innovators and researchers wishing to accelerate access and maximize growth opportunities in the US innovation ecosystem. The East Coast Centre joins the ENRICH network, which includes a West Coast Centre previously established in San Francisco.

ENRICH in the USA, provides high-impact research and innovation internationalization support services to European researchers and innovators with a focus on accelerating access to the US market, and maximizing collaboration and business growth opportunities. ENRICH also serves US-based entities interested in transatlantic research and business opportunities including identifying collaborative research partners, expanding into European markets, and accessing unique technologies/products developed by European innovators.

The Centre is located at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) in Downtown Boston and offers services through the ENRICH in the USA network such as bootcamps, innovation tours, matchmaking events as well as the provision of "hot desks" for individuals selected following competitive calls for applications that will be published at www.enrich-usa.eu.

Dr. Sebastien Farnaud, CEO of MMDP Laboratory, and a participant in the ENRICH Bootcamp, expressed his support for ENRICH and the new Centre.

“The ENRICH programme is an eye opener to the diversity and wealth of the American market! It demystifies the cliche of the impossible reach and demonstrates the will, the need and the benefit from both sides to reinforce this transatlantic bridge. With a huge number of helpful contacts, this is an experience beyond expectations which for me marks the beginning of development at many levels,” said Farnaud.

Funded by the European Commission through Horizon 2020, ENRICH is a global network of centers and hubs focused on promoting the internationalization of European science, technology and innovation (STI).
