ENRICH in the USA Training event - 16 May 2018, Plzen, Czech Republic

The event was organized back-to-back to the 6th National Conference on Technology Transfer and the ENRICH in Brazil Info Day.

The ENRICH in the USA training event was organized in Plzen, at the Rectorate of the University of West Bohemia.

The introductory words and welcome speech on behalf of the University was delivered by Prof.Tomás Kaiser, Vice Rector for Research & Development. Jaroslav Síp, Head of the Project Centre of the University gave a short introduction to the event for the audience.

Going international is not an easy step. Even though the US may seem culturally close to a lot of EU R&I actors, the US ecosystem and market have their own set up and run at a different pace. Within this context, the ENRICH in the USA project organized a training event on “How to internationalise to the US” that provided the trainees further understanding about the US market, its main challenges and opportunities from the European perspective and support on how to successfully create relevant partnerships in the US.

6th Conference on Technology Transfer, Plzen, Czech Republic - 17 May 2018

The annual event of the Czech technology transfer community gathered approx. 120 participants from all over the Czech Republic.

In the frame of the afternoon session RCISD delivered a comprehensive presentation on the three ENRICH Centres: ENRICH in Brazil, ENRICH in the USA and ENRICH in China - providing an overview about the background, the main goals, services and clients of the centres.

At the end of the presentation a short Q & A session offered chance to the audience to ask for more detailed explanations in specific topics.

Audience of the Conference: Technology transfer offices of universities and research organizations, companies, researchers and other stakeholders.
